This is where you will find information on all judges training for obedience, agility, flyball and other canine disciplines.

2017 OBEDIENCE AND RALLY OBEDIENCE STEWARDS COURSE

The Dogs ACT Obedience Sub-Committee is conducting an obedience and rally obedience stewards course in 2017.

Eligibility: nominees to the course must be either a Dogs ACT member or members of Dogs ACT affiliates including the dog training clubs: Belconnen Dog Obedience Club; Tuggeranong Dog Training Club; ACT German Shepherd Dog Association; and ACT Companion Dog Club.

The course will be held on the following dates:

DATE	ACTIVITY	VENUE
Monday, 4 Sept 2017	Theory lecture This will cover the relevant ANKC trial rules for obedience and rally obedience and the ACT Rules and Regulations	Dogs ACT rooms
Monday, 11 Sept 2017	Practical lecture This will provide practical experience of the requirements of a steward in the obedience and rally obedience rings	TBC
Monday, 18 Sept 2017	Written Examination The written exam will test knowledge and understanding of the requirements of an obedience and rally obedience steward as a result of the course	Dogs ACT rooms

Subject to successful completion of the course and the written examination, Dogs ACT Council approval will be sought to list the successful candidates on the Dogs ACT Obedience Stewards list. Completion of the stewards course is a requirement for anyone intending to undertake obedience judges training.
